me and my photos

after many years of photographing i realized that what i photograph is in some way always a reflection of myself: physically, emotionally, mentally or otherwise. altho' nothing in the world is black and white my photos are...

"you are particulary interested in capturing subjects in a way that they contrast against a kind of architectorial geometry and the contrast of natural light and shadow and how that interacts with the chosen subject. (-) though the images seem inspired by traditonal streetphotography they have some unique elements, like primarily focusing on a single person in each scene.(-) and how this person interacts with its enverionment. the relationship this person has with its environment is one of solitude, contentment and transition".

"the images can be seen as portraits of people on the street in urban settings filled with light and shadow. you try to capture characters, real characters and how all those characers function on the street and in the world. a study of life and the human condition on the city streets. (-) a thread that runs through your photos is that many people are unaware of the photographer's presence - and thus the viewer's presence".
